Innovative Team building and Away days

pixelfountain learning simulations provide an excellent way for teams to work in a controlled environment on a meaningful exercise. The delegates can investigate strategies and decision making while working collaboratively towards a common goal. The learning simulation is removed from the day-to-day working lives of the delegate, so it allows the delegates to see the world from a different perspective. But, the exercise still relates to work activities, so the delegates can contextualise the learning and more easily build upon it back on the job.

When asked what they have taken from the day, delegates typically respond with commitments to: collaboration (35%), joined-up thinking (35%), improving performance (20%) and strategic thinking (10%).

Events that Engage

Learning simulations with their high level of engagement, multiplayer format, drama and competitive element lend themselves to events. They offer something different to yet another PowerPoint presentation. Multiple workshops can be delivered in the event (10 workshops in one day is our current record) with the delegates coming back together in a plenary session.

We can also hold large events where 70-100 delegates have been involved. We ran an event for Unilever with 200 delegates split into two competing teams in one room!

Induction

Our learning simulations have successfully been used to anchor induction programmes. They provide an excellent way to allow new staff to network, work together and see the big picture. They also provide a way to spot talent. We can come in and deliver a programme alongside you or you can licence our learning simulations.

Facilitating Change

We can also deliver planning and strategy events.

The workshop [The Leadership Challenge Event] combined fun and learning with realistic outcomes. It enabled joint working across a range of services.
