PtL is about adding long-term value. For example, evaluation of our Planit-nw programme (12 months on) has found 67% of delegates have experienced an improvement in their decision-making and working relationships.

 

Planit-nw has changed the way NW Local Strategic Partnerships (LSP) think and work. Communities are reaping the rewards. LSP coordinators report that the programme has changed the way community strategies are written and that extra resources are being deployed in the sustainable development arena.
Future Skills Need
Our studies have shown that PtL improves generic skills such as communication, team working, problem solving and decision-making. These skills translate into reduced operating costs, improved product quality, ability to work with disparate teams and partners, and the ability to take on new processes (EEF / NOP World Skills Survey).
