High-tech bid to ‘green’ business
A high tech bid to help companies adopt green policies through sustainable
development has won the backing of not only the Government, but also
one of the region's leading utility companies.
Macclesfield-based, software development company - PixelFOUNTAIN
- has not only won a Government SMART Award worth £10,000,
but has also gained sponsorship of a further £5,000 from
Warrington?based United Utilities.

The game – 'Business unLtd – simulates
a supply chain that is currently unsustainable. People taking
part in the training programme will then have to alter the
way the various businesses operate in order to meet their obligations – social,
environmental and economic – with regard to sustainable
development.
