Planit-WASTE models a county with three districts, all with different socio-economic, environmental and waste profiles. The Learning Simulation is played by five teams, who are judged on sustainability, recycling targets, landfill allowances, waste arisings and viability. Planit-WASTE has been used in three regions ( including in the West Midlands) to bring partnerships together and to consider waste in sustainable terms.
