Overview and Outcomes:
The main reason for problems in organisations is communication both within and between different teams, sites and departments. Establishing effective communication can be achieved through a greater understanding of why we feel, think and behave in different circumstances.
Conflict is often a destructive force in organisations; both when it is expressed and when it is hidden. But, conflict can be healthy - where people are assertive, open and honest and where dissent and disagreement is encouraged, discussed and sorted out.
This workshop looks at the how we communicate by using the theory of ego states and the analysis of our transactions with each other. Delegates are then immersed in a virtual world where they can explore their communication and conflict in a safe and fun environment. Have a go at being assertive, or less bossy (see delegate feedback below)!
This then helps them improve their communication skills, influencing/negotiating skills and enables them to handle conflict in a healthy and productive way.
