Berrybridge board away day
using RegenIT
|
|
|
|
In the morning
the Board played the Regen-IT learning-simulation. Regen-IT considers
real issues involved in developing sustainable regeneration schemes
and projects. It provided an excellent way for team to work together
on a meaningful exercise.
|
The delegates investigated strategies
and decision making while working collaboratively towards a common
goal.
The simulation is removed from the
day-to-day working lives of the Board, so it allowed them to
see the world
from a different perspective. But, the exercise still relates
to work of the Housing Association, so the delegates can contextualise
the learning and develop the ideas in the afternoon “real-world” session.
“Allowed
different board members to participate and make virtual decisions.
Also promoted team work.”
